Most people convert to another religion because they are serching for something to fulfil the inner desire of who they are and where they are going, in peace and understanding, which their previous religion did not give to them.

As a revert to Islam from 1989, I had searched my faith of Chistianity over thirty odd years and found it failing to inspire me into the belief that it was true. Having re-searched all the varied Christian secular differences, none gave me the answer of there being only One God, the original God of the Old Testament. This changed within the New Testament but even here there were too many errors.

Yes, Islam has its hard line radicals, which in actual fact should be ignored, for if they go against the Qur'an, then they become non-believers. Suicide bombers go against the Qur'an, for the safety of all people are paramount in Islam be they believers or not. Anyone who beats his wife or does not treat her like an equal has also left the faith. Islam itself is never the fault of those who do things against it but rather the domination that man must have over others that misinterpret it and give it a bad name.

It is good to see and hear the stories of these sisters who have reverted to Islam but to be truthful they were originally Muslim's at birth and it was their parents who took them away from their faith. It was God who returned them to the truth and the faith of love. Islam is not war but rather "Peace".

Dear Brother,
you don't have to be anonymous to say the truth, it is good to debate on something which is good to discussion and to clear the doubts. Well, the question is not that the people are converting to Hinduism, Christianity or Islam. The question is that when someone converts or reverts then why he/she does so?

If the reason behind it is a practical way to live as normal and better human being than he/she used to be then it is justified. Any religion has a code of living in this world and everyone tries to adopt the best code to live. Islam is found to be the best updated version among all these codes. Now the question is who is suppose to decide this? The answer is very simple in all other religions, it is a duty to understand this code by their priest only but Islam says that you have to read, understand and decide.

I suggest politely that dear brothers and sisters if you are a non muslim then read your book and then read QURAN and judge yourself that which is near the practical way to live, decide yourself.

Worshiping a God is so simple, if the code of worship is really from one God then you can worship anywhere and at anytime without taking any help from any worldly thing. Give a try, if you pray Salah then you don't need any worldly thing and now try your worship, I bet you need a few things to complete your worship. Now consider the situation you have in Amazon's jungles, in a city like New York or any other place where you live. I hope you will discuss further in this regard.
